Ping for Slack
About
Ping is a Slack-native support bot that answers your team's support questions instantly using your Notion docs. When a teammate @mentions your support alias in Slack, Ping searches across your connected Notion pages for a relevant answer and posts it in the thread — with sources cited.
The result: fewer repeated questions, faster response times, and Notion docs that actually get used.
Connect your Notion workspace to Ping in two clicks. Ping respects Notion's permission model — only pages you explicitly share with the integration are searchable.
How to use
1. Install Ping for Slack from the Slack App Directory, or at pingforslack.com 2. Run /ping setup in your team's support channel to configure the on-call rotation
3. From the Ping dashboard, click Connect Notion — you'll be redirected to Notion
4. Select the pages or databases you want Ping to search for support answers
5. Click Authorize — Ping begins indexing your selected content within minutes
6. When a teammate @mentions your support alias in Slack with a question, Ping will post an answer in-thread, citing the Notion pages it pulled from
